A delegation of engineers from Sorror Group conducted an official visit to the company’s factory in Shanghai, China, as part of the company’s strategy to ensure the highest levels of quality in the manufacturing of elevators and their components, and to reinforce its commitment to internationally recognized technical standards.
Close Monitoring of All Manufacturing Stages
The visit included extensive field tours inside the production lines, where the engineers monitored:
Manufacturing stages of the elevator’s mechanical components
Production steps of electronic boards and control systems
Preparation processes of cables and safety devices (Safety Gear & Governors)
Manufacturing lines for doors, cabins, and hydraulic systems
The delegation focused on verifying that every stage of production complies with the agreed technical specifications, while reviewing work-in-progress models to ensure precision and quality execution.
Supervision of Product Development
The engineering delegation discussed several key points with the factory’s development team aimed at:
Enhancing elevator efficiency and improving performance under different operational conditions
Developing control systems to be more reliable and technologically advanced
Improving material quality to increase elevator lifespan and reduce breakdowns
Introducing new features aligned with the needs of the Iraqi and Gulf markets
A set of technical updates was agreed upon, which will directly improve the quality of the final product.
Conducting Advanced Technical Tests and Inspections
Sorror Group’s engineers supervised a series of specialized product tests, including:
Safety tests
Load, impact, and stress distribution assessments
Durability and lifecycle tests
Performance verification of control systems and electronic boards
Review of test results from the factory’s quality laboratories
The delegation emphasized the importance of full compliance with these tests and the need to approve them before shipping.
Ensuring Compliance With European Standards
The delegation stressed the importance of ensuring that all components and systems comply with EN 81 and EN 115 European standards. They reviewed:
CE certification and conformity documents
Quality control procedures within production lines
Periodic inspection records
Technical documentation associated with each product before leaving the factory
It was agreed to reinforce auditing mechanisms to maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
